Ear piercing trends change from season to the next but there are a few classic ones that have always been the most popular. Want to take a guess?
You won’t need to because we’ve found them for you!
1. Ear lobe: The most classic piercing that almost all women get is an ear lobe piercing which is located on the lowest part of your ear.
2. Upper Lobe: An upper lobe piercing comes to the right of a lobe piercing but on a higher level.
3. Tragus Piercing: This kind of piercing is made in the small, round piece of cartilage that sits directly above the ear canal.
4. Helix Piercing: This one sits at the highest outer rim of the ear.
5. Forward Helix: This is a piercing that goes through the side of the cartilage closest to the head and sits above the tragus.
6. Daith Piercing: Sits on a long, thin cartilage located just above the tragus. It connects the outer ear to the conch that’s inside the ear.
7. Rook Piercing: These go vertically on the piece of cartilage in the upper inside of the ear.
8. Conch Piercing: This one is inserted through the large part of cartilage “that makes up the inside and back of the ear.”
9. Flat: This piercing is named after it’s location as it’s placed in the flat area of the cartilage in the upper ear.
